A sleep disorder is a medical disorder of sleep patterns. A few sleep disorders are serious enough to interfere with normal physical, mental, social and emotional functioning. When a person faces difficulty falling asleep and/or staying asleep with no obvious cause, it is referred to as insomnia. Some common sleep disorders are sleep apnea (the individual stops breathing during sleep), insomnia, and narcolepsy. For these sleep disorders we use meditation, yoga, Su Jok and various other therapies and treatments.
